Good morning shredders! Yesterday was almost too much fun. Today we open the mountain top dropoff and the “Black Bear Bowl” runs, another half dozen runs with 6-7″ of fresh powder, as well as a few fresh groomers on the south bowl, like Shreds, Solar Coaster Ridge, and Sundance.
Temperatures early this morning remain in the minus 10-12 degree range, with winds abating through the day. It’s going to be another great day on the moose. For current temps, visit our home page at shredthemoose.com and scroll down to the weather buttons.
Whenever it’s below zero we encourage all shredders to dress warmly, with underlayers, balaclava, and warm hat or helmet, and goggles, what we call the “no exposed skin” method, for maximum enjoyment of the great Alaskan outdoors.
Lodge opens at 9 a.m. First bus at 10, last bus at 2:30. Half day at 12:15 for $5 off. Beginner tow will operate from 11-2 today.
We’ll see you SOON!
