MOOSE MOUNTAIN 2021-2022 Self Shuttle Agreement
RULES OF THE ROAD

Access to the Moose Mountain Private Road is a privilege. For the safety of all persons on the public & private road these rules must be followed. Failure to do so may result in revocation of driving privileges without a refund. All vehicles must be All Wheel or 4 WD with suitable winter tires, current registration & insurance. The driver must be 18 or older with a valid Driver’s License.

Road Behavior/Driver Responsibility

• Maximum speed limit 30mph, drive to road conditions
• Stay in your lane, use caution for blind curves and changing road conditions
• Absolutely NO Passing or tailgating other vehicles
• Uphill drivers have right of way or Downhill drivers yield to uphill drivers
• Use lower gears while driving downhill
• Agree to follow instructions of Moose Mountain personnel
• Be observant of and compliant to parking attendant
• Park, Drop off and Pick up riders in designated areas only
• Be observant of road/gate closure times: no racing to beat the clock
• Skiers & boarders must be dropped off and the driver/vehicle outside the gate by the gate closing time. UNLOCK FEE $30.00
• Unsafe or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be reported to State Troopers

Rider Behavior

• Each person must be in their own seat with their seat belt on
• Per AS 28.05.095 Children must be secured in an age/size appropriate device
• No riding in hatchbacks, truck beds, camper shells, or motor homes
• Passes are to be attached & visible to staff before being dropped off at the top

Parking

• Do not park in drop off/pick up areas
• If you must assist riders with their gear, use a parking spot so as not to interrupt the flow of traffic
• Single row parking is encouraged at the base to avoid backing up since young skiers & boarders could be in your vehicle blind spots.

I have read, understand and agree to the terms of the Moose Mountain Ski & Board Area 2021-2022 Self Shuttle Agreement. I understand that I am solely responsible for the safe use of my vehicle at all times.
