Sunday February 1 OPEN
Lodge opens at 9:30, first bus at 10. Last bus at 3:45. We’re now back to our full day schedule. Prime time at 12:30 for $5 off. Bear Cub Rope tow runs when staff is available but you may walk up and practice any time. Rentals are due back at 3:30.
From what we are seeing and hearing in ski reports and first hand accounts, the Moose is enjoying some of the best ski/board conditions in the entire western USA. Ski reports down south show little or no new snow in weeks, thaw/freeze conditions turning mountains to ice, while we are still enjoying above zero but below freezing, plenty of snow, and beautiful weather, with sun on the slopes all afternoon!
With inversions back in play, highs have been in the teens and twenties this weekend and we expect that to continue today.
The grooming report for Sunday: Way Bear – all the way to the bottom including the walkout, Lost Bear, Baby Bear, Smokey Bear Braids, skiers left half of White Spruce, Sluicebox and the Bear Cub beginner area. Most of the mountain has now been regroomed this week!
It’s going to be another great day!
