Lodge opens at 9, first bus at 10. Last bus at 3:30. Prime time at 12:30 for $5 off. Rope tow runs if staff is available but you may walk up and practice any time.
The Moose is 10 to 30 degrees warmer than Fairbanks this morning. It’s nice to have inversion temps and sun returning after the long cold months. At 5 a.m. it’s 1 above at the lodge and plus 12 at mid mountain and even warmer on top, with nearby weather stations reporting in the 20’s at 1500 feet or above. (the top of Moose is at 2000′ elevation).
We have been grooming hard this week with a long list of runs to enjoy, inlucluding Way Bear (including the walk-out), Lost Bear, Brother Bear, Polar Bear braids, Smoky Bear braids, Rabbit Runs 1, 2, 3 and 4, Sundance, upper Solar Coaster, Alder, Switchback, Waterfall, Sluicebox, Haw, Alpenglow, and the Bear Cub beginner area.
