Friday, January 30. OPEN
Lodge opens at 9:30, first bus at 10. Last bus at 3:45. We’re now back to our full day schedule. Prime time at 12:30 for $5 off. Rope tow runs when staff is available but you may walk up and practice any time. Rentals are due back at 3:30.
The wind has died and allowed inversions to set up in the hills. At 4 a.m. we already have teens and twenties on the mountain. Forecast calls for sunshine, which always warms us up during the day.
Fresh groomers for today include Lost Bear, Glacier Bear, Black Bear, Black Spruce, Shreds, Weasel Alley, Otter Slide, Haw/Alpenglow and the Bear Cub beginner area. The rest was kissed with 1/2 inch of new on a mostly groomed mountain from last week.
