A “balmy” (for us at least) weekend in store, with 1.6″ of new snow reported at 1400′ and temps in the 20’s and low 30’s. I’ve been instructed by higher management not to call it a powder Friday but it is actually amazing how much an inch of snow can slow and soften the whole mountain.
Fresh groomers for Friday include Sundance, Solar Coaster, Rabbit Run 1 and 2, middle-left of White Spruce, Wolverine and the Bear Cub beginner area. The Bears remain untouched for Friday. Groomer’s choice is Solar Coaster.
Lodge will open at 9:30, first bus at 10, last bus 3:15. Half day at 12:47.5 for $5 off. Beginner tow runs from noon to 2:30.
We are now gaining over 5 minutes per day of sunlight. Bring it on old Sol!
