Sunshine Saturday!

February 8, day 34 on the Moose!

Good morning shredders. Did you know that no place in interior Alaska gets more sun than the south facing slopes of Moose Mountain?

It’s another great day coming up, with new snow, fresh groomers, and solar power you can actually feel!

After yesterdays cheater pow fest we got out and groomed a few more favorites like Moosewalk to the Meadow, Smoky Bear Braids, Brother Bear, Bear Ridge, Lost Bear, Left side of White Spruce, And Bear Cub beginner area! Add that to yesterday’s list and there’s a lot of sunnyside fun to be had today.

First bus at 10, last bus 3:50 for last run at 4. Beginner tow runs from noon to 3. Lodge opens at 9:30, and closes at 4:30 so please have your ride arranged. Half day is at 1:55 for $5 off.

This morning’s lows are in the single digits above zero, and the sun will likely be bringing it up to the teens by this afternoon. For current temps try the weather buttons below.

We’ll see you soon!
