A “balmy” (for us at least) weekend in store, with 1.6″ of new snow reported at 1400′ and temps in the high teens at all elevations with more snow falling again at 2 a.m. Is this enough now to call a “powder Friday”?
It is actually amazing how much one or two inches of snow can slow and soften the whole mountain.
Fresh groomers for Friday include Sundance, Solar Coaster, Rabbit Run 1 and 2, middle-left of White Spruce, Wolverine and the Bear Cub beginner area. The Bears remain untouched for Friday. Groomer’s choice is Solar Coaster.
Lodge will open at 9:30, first bus at 10, last bus 3:15. Half day at 12:47.5 for $5 off. Beginner tow runs from noon to 2:30. We are now gaining over 5 minutes per day of sunlight. Bring it on old Sol!
