Sunday, March 25. Day 55. Another cool night and warm afternoon in store for the Moose, keeping our snowpack in great shape. First bus at 11, last bus at 5. Half day at 2 for $5 off.
Fresh groomers today include Bear Ridge, Lost Bear, Way Bear, Smokey Braids, Goldpanner, and Sluice Box.
With wind from the north, and sun in the south/southwest, Moose Mountain is one of the warmest places in interior Alaska to get out and enjoy winter. We enjoy daily “solar factor” of 20 to 30 degrees this time of year, and shredding becomes soft and smooth every afternoon. And of course, a warm bus ride to the top gets you relaxed and ready for your next run.
Ski patrol barbeque at Raven’s Roost again today noon to three. Only $5 for a hot sandwich, and a thankful award winning ski patrol that uses the money for needed rescue equipment and supplies.
