Ok shredders, the Powder Friday is on. It’s still below zero on the mountain at 6:30 am but with inversion, temps are rising steadily. Check the weather buttons below for instant results. At 7 a.m. it’s 13 below at the base and -6f on top.
The ROPE TOW WILL REMAIN CLOSED today. Beginners are not recommended on the bus to the top. Everyone will need masks and goggles to prevent frostbite on faces.
Gates open at 9, lodge at 9:30, first bus at 10, last bus at 3:00. Half day is at 12:30 for $5 off.
It’s an all powder Friday, with nearly 6″ of new from Monday, probably settiing to 4-5″ by now. All runs were groomed last week so they will be amazing today. Cold snow is slow, but we do have the best cold weather rub on wax available at the base lodge.
Dress warm, and we’ll see you SOON!
