It’s time to shred the moose! Moose Mountain will be open today for skinning and self shuttle from 10 to 3. Upper gate will close at 2:45.
We have some fresh snow overnight, with temperatures this morning from -5 at the base to -8 on top. Dress warm!
The most recommended runs are off Moosewalk, from White Spruce to Pipeline, where shade prevented melting during the record temps in late October. We have had over 19″ of snow at mid mountain this season, and it’s still snowing at 5 a.m. today. Many runs now have 4 or 5 inches of powder on a groomed base.
Remember to pick up your passes (available on line at shredthemoose.com) at the base lodge before heading up. Only those with self shuttle passes are eligible to drive to the top. There are no dogs allowed on the slopes.
We’ll see you soon!
