Moose Mountain and its award winning ski patrol have decided to make a go of it this winter. Initially, in the face of a still rising pandemic, we will not be able to use the busses to the top.
We will open to climbers and skinners first. Self shuttle to the top will probably become an option for responsible “bubbles” with suitable vehicles.
We are currently packing the base with the nice dump we received last weekend. We’ve had a foot of snow so far. Another 6-8″ will make it safely skiable.
More info will be available as we figure it out. The season pass for skinning will be $100 paid on line in advance. Opening day will be season pass holders only. Please give us a week or so to get the passes up for sale on our web site.
We’ll also be complying with the National Ski Areas Association guidelines below. Use of the lodge may be limited to employees and perhaps a few customers at a time. Masks will be required from gate to slopes, including parking areas and lodge zone. We won’t be renting equipment. Sledding is not allowed.
