THURSDAY, December 23. Moose Mountain is open today from 10 to 3 for skinning, hiking, and self shuttle/carpooling. There will be no rentals available today.  Shredding is recommended for intermediate/advanced skiers and boarders only.
We have spent a few days grooming and plowing and getting ready, and there are a couple inches of new again this morning with a couple more in the forecast for today. At 7 a.m. it’s a few degrees above zero all over the mountain.
Over half the mountain is still untouched powder from the 11 inches received since we last opened on Sunday. Groomed runs include Bear Ridge, Black Spruce, Solar Coaster, Sundance, White Spruce (partial), Shreds, Weasel, Haw, and Alpenglow.
Get your tickets and passes online at SHREDTHEMOOSE.COM. We’ll have them ready to pick up at the base when you arrive.
Show us your vaccine card and wear a mask and you can come in the lodge to rest, warm up, and have a hot chocolate. Consider it a reward for helping to protect our more senior staff and friends.
We’ll see you SOON!
